John since 2021 serves as Board Chair of the World Federalist Movement-Institute for Global Policy. In addition, he is an Advisor of Democracy Without Borders.  John graduated in philosophy and mathematics before serving in the British Army. He then worked in finance, in derivatives and hedge funds. He has always enjoyed climbing rocks and mountains, where he has seen first-hand the dramatic impact of climate change. Increasingly concerned that humanity is not looking after its planet, he returned to university to study global politics at the London School of Economics. He now works with fellow activists to realize the vision of a sustainable, just and peaceful world through more effective and accountable global governance.
